Parade

Our town held its annual parade today. Wow, was it ever pitiful! (as always) However, it is so hometown and it’s neat when you know everyone. I mean how great is it when plain clothed people  walk down the street and wave?! That was about the extent of it.

There were a few craft booths and an entertainment stand. We didn’t buy anything or see any entertainment.

You can’t tell from this next picture, but Jade is actually eating a sucker. Someone threw her one in the parade and that was the highlight of the parade for her.

Of course, Santa rode in on his sleigh  fire truck.

This afternoon we have just chilled around the house watching the National football conference. (I realize that some people call it the SEC championship, but I know that the SEC champ is the NATIONAL champ.)

I have spent all day searching the Internet for a gift for a friend’s daughter. I THINK we got it worked out. I also had to order a gift for Todd and Caro to give to Jenna. DSC_7045

(23.45 is your total Todd.)

It’s been a nice day….did I mention Jeff brought me breakfast in bed? Well, he did.

That's a neat looking old fire truck. Looks like you had fun and that's what really matters. - BLM

At least this one was during the day rather than at night when you have to rig up a generator just to make your float visible. Where there any floats this year?
