Twas another quiet day that ended with a fun dinner. The girls and I stayed home all day.
Tonight Mama, Daddy, Caro, Victoria, Aunt Bonnie, and Rhonda came for dinner. Aunt Bonnie and Rhonda had cooked more than they could eat by themselves, so they brought the food to my house, we added some grilled chicken and voila!
Jeff got “Bob”, Jade’s bouncy horse that she has outgrown down from upstairs. Victoria LOVED it!

Aunt Carol, I mean Betty Rocker, this picture is for you. Thanks for sending the cake. We would have enjoyed it more if it hadn’t fallen over. (Noone dumped it- it just fell!) Were you drinking so much that the cake got drunk, too? Ha!
BTW- Tasted great and thanks for the tea, too!
Wonder how long it will be before she calls and asks, “What does BTW mean?”

Aunt Carol made up for the cake with homemade cheese straws and pecan brittle for us to take to the beach today. She is the best!! Too bad you didn't have any pix of her kitchen today:) The smells were incredible not to mention the trays for cheese straws and plates of pecan brittle. she should go in business-yum yum yum--love you, c
