This will be a pictureless post. Sorry. I did take a few tonight, but I left the camera in the car and Im not going out to get it in this rainy weather…
Rain, dare you say it’s raining in GA….well, yes we are finally getting rain. So far it’s not enough, but maybe there is more to come. We hope so.
Today we had lunch at Chhhhick fil a…pronounced just as I typed it. I dont care to eat there, but the rest of the family enjoys it. I eat the breading off the nuggets and the fries. It was Aunt Carol (Betty Rocker), Nonni, Caro, Victoria, Jade, and Jenna, and I who met for lunch. Jade and I came straight home while Jenna stayed with Nonni.
I packed the finishing touches for the beach. Betty Rocker made us homemade cheese straws and homemade pecan brittle to take with us to the beach. We wanted her to come with us to the beach, but she has to pack for her trip to Montana. (funny story coming up) She makes the best cheese straws and brittle! Thanks Betty Rocker!
BTW- she emailed me this afternoon wanting to know what BTW means. Now she knows…if she has read her email.
Ok, for the Montana story. This is kinda funny, but Uncle Joe meant it very seriously when he told her this…..You see Aunt Carol’s friend bought a house in Montana. Uncle Joe was a bit concerned about Aunt Carol and her friends roaming the Montana wilderness. He was particularly concerned that she may run into a bear….he gave her survival tips should this encounter occur…with all seriousness, his advice is “to run faster than at least one other person!” Ha!
Ok, so im off to bed to rest for the drive and 4 days at the beach. We will be posting from the beach so check back daily.
