Today we spent with lots of family. We have yet to get all of the family together, but we are tacking it little by little every day. We started the day having a yummy lunch at Mama Macs. She cooked a southern meal complete with her famous Mac and cheese.
Isn’t this a sweet pics of Jenna and Victoria?
Pop feeds Victoria her bottle before lunch.
After lunch the babies needed a nap. The afternoon was going to be packed with swimming and sun.
Mama Mac walked over and watched the girls swim for quite a while.
Here is a pic of Victoria’s first swim ever. She LOVED the water. Caro swam most every morning that she was pregnant so she was anxious to see how Put Put would take to the water.
Jade stayed in the water for a LONG time, too.
Aunt Bonnie walked over to visit for a while, too.
After our swim we headed to Aunt Carol and Uncle Joe’s farm in Sparta. (pronounced Spartay as in Partay) Shay, I don’t think I was there long enough to make the gossip column in the Ishmaelite, but let me know if I’m in there next week.
We ate dove and rice. The builder of the farm house built an adult sized rocking horse and here are some pics of Jade enjoying it.
From previous posts you know that Aunt Carol loves food. She is particularly fond of sugar….check out this box of bubble gum. I mean I thought only the Kiwanis Club bought boxes like this to fill their bubble gum machines.
Jeff brought our Polaris and Uncle Joe has two on the farm. We first took a ride to the new pond (there are several) where Jenna and Caro wore out the bream.
I took this picture of Aunt Carol to which she said “her fat was showing”, so…
she reposed for me…no fat showing now…
Jade and her faces…this one with straw hanging from her mouth looks a bit scary..ha
Aunt Jan and Put Put
CHaos…..
It was another great day. We will do it all over again tomorrow. Who knows what we will get into tomorrow. Certainly we had no idea we would get into all of this today. I mean who makes plans to go to Spartay? You just end up there.
Aunt Carol gave a new piece of advice for those who don’t like to cook. She says to have a drink before entering the kitchen…she says she doesn’t want to be Betty Crocker….she wants to be Betty Rocker.
With that in mind…Rock on
