Getting so much done today...

Jenna came home this morning from 2 nights at her dad's. She was only home a matter of minutes before it was time to take her to Mama- Macs. Mama- Mac wanted both girls today since we will be on vacation next week. That freed me up to get Jenna's room finished. It looks great, but I know that she will immediately say, "I want my bed painted." She wants the bed painted blue, but the last time I painted the bed it took 7 hours and I was EXHAUSTED! I am trying to put off repainting as long as possible. Jeff did a great job painting the walls.

I met Jeff for lunch and picked up some Rx and sunscreen while I was out. I am now waiting to go get the girls before I have to take Jenna to a birthday party. Poor girl has such a busy calendar! Jeff and I are having dinner with our friends the Morris family tonight. We will have Japanese (YUM!). After that Jennifer and I will head up to the Horton's for a quick meet and greet. Jade will stay at my parents's tonight. Now if you read carefully you noticed that Jenna and Jade will both be away for the night. That equals a SLEEP IN morning for mom! Yeah!

At lunch today I mentioned to Jeff that I needed to take my car through the drive thru car wash. It is so dirty! The inside needs a good vaccuming too. Jade's cereal puffs spilled in the console this week so there is cereal dust everywhere. At just the mention of this, JEff is on the phone calling the car wash guy to detail both of our vehicles tomorrow. (If you read my profile you know that I told you he was a GREAT guy!)

I am going to attempt to post some pictures of Jenna's new room. Apparently, Blogger will only post pictures at the top of the blog. I have tried to use two other writer programs, but they both do not recognize my username and password. Can anyone help? Is anyone even reading this? HA! The picture at the top of the post is of Jen's room in progress. The second picture is of the finished room. (except for the bed that is still pink and purple.) Jen tells me that pink and purple is "girly" and she doesn't like it anymore. I'm crossing my fingers that the comforter, curtain, and decorations will mask the pink and purple.

AFter looking at the pics I would say that the pink and purple still shine brightly. Grr- may have to paint afterall. I made the curtain from the bedskirt that came with the comforter. I lined it with brown fabric left from Jade's curtains and added some sparkly trim. The circles on the wall are placemats that I added "J"s to. I cut the Js with my Cricut machine. The squares are corkboard covered in fabric. I covered them and just added the ribbon. We still have a shelf to hang that houses all of her "Growing in Grace" Precious Moments. This will hang above the Hannah Montana dollhouse. My cousin, Hope, and her husband Derrick give Jen these PM each year on her birthday. They look really pretty on her shelf and I will have to post pics when it gets hung.

Just realized that the pictures post in backwards order as to how you post them. How dumb is that? Someone- please, oh please, help me figure out how to get Live Writer to link to this blog. I'm logging off before I get too frustrated! Grrrrrrrr
