Children- It’s always something!

I looked up the definition of children and the dictionary said this:

Children: noun; cute money pits family additions.

JEnna had to go to the dr today because she has coughed constantly for a week now. Nothing seemed to help. I assumed it was just a reaction to something at the condo, but we have since found out that 3 family members have serious bronchitis. I didn’t want to ignore that. Since there was NO way she could make it through church with all the coughing, we opted to go to the dr. The dr visit cost a mere $35, but the Rx were $120 and that does not include the one drug we got as samples!! She has a sinus infection and bronchitis. She is also showing signs of developing asthma. (we hope to prevent this.) So now we have an antibiotic for sinus and skin (another issue we have been fighting), antibiotic ointment, albuterol inhaler, aero chamber, allegra, and a steroid nasal spray. \

Jade’s “toy of the day” is a Styrofoam cooler. She plays for 45 minutes at the time. She poses every time she sees the camera.

 

Jenna called to check on Grandmama who has been sick with bronchitis.

What are JEff and Jenna doing here??? Jeff is FINALLY looking at Jade’s scrapbook. It only took 2 weeks, but he looks to be enjoying it. That’s all that matters. He just commented that Megan did a very nice job finishing the scrapbook. Thanks Megan (if you are reading this.)

We have plans to finish the day quietly. Jenna needs to rest, Jeff needs to rest for work tomorrow, and I always desire rest. Now, we have to get Jade to cooperate. Jenna wants pancakes for dinner. It’s a beautiful day outside, but I’m afraid to make JEnna get out and play too much. She is still coughing constantly!!!!

I’m scoping out embroidery machines. Anyone have one they no longer want? I don’t (need) to spend the money on one. I’ll just keep dreaming. I was thinking I could make Jade some cute bibs since hers are all stained now. I could also make her onesies, bags, gifts, etc, etc. I am full of ideas with a wallet full of air! oh well.
