I already blogged that this would be a BUSY week and I was so right!
Last night I went to church for a teaching on Passover. When I was in college I was a daytime nanny for a Jewish family. I was at their home when the had their Seder and celebrated Passover. My church also has a Passover feast every Spring where Miss Maude teaches the children the Passover tradition. It is a part of the Christian heritage, you know.
Tonight I am typing this from my desk. We are having a parent night for parents to come pick up report cards. I have put in a LOT of overtime in the past week. Good thing I like my job!
Earlier today I went to move the Orlando pictures from my memory card to my computer. When I inserted the card, it would not read. I panicked as this card holds ALL Of my pictures since Christmas. The good thing is that I blog daily, so a lot of pictures are already saved and all of the “major events” are represented on my blog. I also back up to Shutterfly and my Computer, but obviously, I am behind on that task. I searched all day for a recovery program for my card. I found one free option that was SLOW, several costly programs that I didn’t want to pay for, and THEN at around 2:30, I had a faint memory of a strange CD in my desk drawer. I pulled it out and VOILA! It was a RECOVERY PROGRAM. I was able to save ALL Of my pictures. I THINK that my card is dead, but that can be replaced.
I learned several valuable lessons:
1) Back up pictures in 2 places REGULARLY
2) Don’t switch a card between 2 cameras without reformatting (cause of my problem)
3) Blog. It’s an easy way to have a 3rd back up plan
4) There are wonderful recovery programs out there. I am particularly thankful for that today.
Jeff is out of town tonight. Jenna is excited because that means that she gets to sleep with me. I pray Jade sleeps all night.
AC, I know Jenna asked you to go on that field trip with her. If you can not go, I am now available. I thought I was going with my students to UGA that day, but now we are going on the 7th, so I am available on the 21st. I may go, too, anyway. Jenna would just have 2 chaperones.
I am SO looking forward to Easter and the trip to Hilton Head next week. The weather looks great! YIPPEE!
***No Pics- See above for reasons.

I saw a werewolf with a Chinese menu in his hand,
Walking through the streets of Soho in the rain.
He was looking for the place called Lee Ho Fook's,
Going to get a big dish of beef chow mein.
