Happy Birthday to me!

Today is my 34th birthday. I’m not sure why we make such a big deal out of bdays in our culture. I get the 1st birthday and maybe the decade markers..but what’s so special about a number like 34?

Oh well, didn’t stop me from enjoying my day or the celebrations! :)

Went shopping this morning with a gift card that Mama- Mac and Daddy Mac gave me.

Went to lunch with Dawn who took me to Hannah’s to celebrate. (If you haven’t eaten here- try it)

Jade gave me this handmade flower ring- it’s very vintagy and all the rage.

 

Jeff gave me this platter. (said it was more for him than me, but I like it)

 

Mama made me this scrapbook of our beach trip. She also paid for my sewing class tomorrow.

 

She gave me these shopping bags too- cute

Jenna gave me a watch, made me a clipboard, and gave me a necklace that looks SIMILAR to the one that Nanny gave her a few weeks ago, hmmmm

 

Aunt Carol and uncle Joe gave me these boots and top. I picked them out a while back. The boots are because EVERY year it rains on the gifted trip and there is not much worse than walking around a city soppin wet. This will either keep me dry or will guarantee that it will never rain on a trip again. Either way- its good

Jane and JErry sent me these YUMMY lemon bars from Sweet Kneads.

and since you’ve been waiting with baited breath- here she is- my finished quilt top. BTW- Aunt MAry SUe bought me half the fabric for my bday. Aint she a beaut?

Tomorrow night we will go to dinner with the best parents ever (mine). Thursday I’m going to dinner and the movies with Jennifer and Julie. I’m celebrating all week!
