I stayed up way too late last night and finished the top half of my quilt. It has a few puckers and “issues” but even after relooking at it today, I’m still pleased.
Went to church this am.
Went to the grocery store….LOTS of groceries. You see Jeff and I have always grocery shopped once a month. We refill the milk, turkey, cheese, etc in between. This always gives us plenty of choices on what to eat without impulsively running to the store. It also tends to leave us with a surplus from time to time and we need to do a “clean out”. So back in May I decided that we would eat from the pantry, freezer, etc until we HAD to shop. It took us until today. We still had food (plenty) but we were out of too many things….so we went BIG TIME shopping for food. We may not have to return until OCtober.
After dinner I’m gonna go sew some more.
Look at cutie…
my top half…..
PLease go read Two Fact Chics from my blog roll. These are my two co workers and their posts are hysterical! Let's just say that today's post starts out with a pic of Gloria's butt. (fully clothed)
Also, Gloria, if you want to know why Atlanta acknowledges fat as a handicap, go reread your post on fried pickles. The south fries everything! In fact, my mom will only eat a honey bun if it's fried in butter. I mean fried pickles are one thing, but fried Honey Bun- sheez!
Peace Out

Fried honey bun is about like Paula Deen bread pudding with 24 Krispy Kreme doughnuts in it. Talk about sugar comma waiting to happen! Your top section of your quilt looks good. They colors are wonderful! You must have hired a color consultant to choose your fabric. :)
Yes, the quilt is turning out beautiful...love it...I would love to try that fried honey bun...(my butt is going to be with me for a while)especially if I like them.
It's actually not fried it's sauteed in butter:) yum yum yum! c
