This post will be short and pictureless.
Yesterday afternoon Jeff called and said, "don't panic, but..." Well, if you watch Dr. Phil you know that the "but" negates everything you just said, so I knew I should panic. But I didn't. He continued with, "I think I broke my ankle."
Ok, so don't panic....yeah right...We can't do without Jeff and his leg! Anyway long story short- step broke at work, JEff fell, dislocated ankle, bad sprain...it's ugly blue and purple and is the size of a softball.
but it hasn't stopped Jeff a bit! He is so stinkin stubborn! I have tried to wait on him, but I give up! I heard a strange noise this morning...he's outing cleaning the pool and cutting shrubbery. Grr!
Nothing would do but for him to cut the grass this evening. So fine- ride the lawn mower if you must. Well he did...picture this...
He comes into the back door and says, "this day can not get any worse!" Really?! Well, I can't imagine anything happened since you KNOW you shouldn't be out there anyway....
He shows me his finger which is covered in blood and has only half a fingernail. Grrr- what did you do?! Apparently as he was attempting to park the lawn mover he caught his finger between the mower and the building shredding his nail off. No worries- no stitches needed- it's just ugly and hurts...
But wait that's not all ( I sound like Billy Mays)
He shows me a cut on his leg....what now? Apparently as he was mowing by the road a car came by and slung a rock with it's tire whacking jeff in the leg and slicing it open. No stitches there, either.
Maybe he will stay still tomorrow- but i doubt it!
(don't feel bad if you laughed at his saga...as bad as I feel for him...I laughed a little when I sat back and thought about it all)
Several of you are making your own laundry detergent. Good Luck and Enjoy!

I will be praying for Jeff..He sounds as stuborn as the one I have.
Men, Men, Men !! When his leg falls off maybe he will learn! Seriously, I hope it does not turn out to have a hairline fracture that shows up as a result of his not resting it.
