Pappy’s blog debut

Well, technically it’s not Pappy’s blog debut b/c he was in the wedding post, but this is his CURRENT blog debut.

 

Anywhoo…Nonni, Caro, and Victoria left for GA this morning. Jenna, Jade and I stayed so that we could have dinner with MeMe and Pappy. We went to Hudson’s which is one of our island favs.

The day was rather quiet and I was considering not doing a post today, but boy did that change at dinner…

Here’s a clue…

 

Thankfully, Jenna brought her camera to dinner, because I did not even bring mine.

 

 

 

During the summer Hudson’s has a clown or a magician to entertain the kids. “Lollipop” the clown was there tonight.

As we were entering the restaurant Pappy was trying to remember the clowns name and he called her “CLappy the CLown”. Little did he know that “Pappy the CLown” was closer to the correct name.

Jenna had a palm tree painted on  her arm. Pappy was then asked to sit down beside “Lollipop” which he did. (BTW- Pappy is not a loud prankster like Jeff, so this is OUT of character for him)

Lollipop painted Pappy’s nose which we thought was funny…little did we know…

Jenna laughed and laughed

Lollipop kept going..

and going…

and going…

and going….

until Voila…Pappy the Clown was born.

 

Now it seems that Pappy was all smiles, but we could tell that this was not his idea of a lot of fun. MeMe laughed til she was in pain.

Boy am I glad that Jenna brought her camera!

Headed home tomorrow….
