So Long, Insecurity

You’ve been a bad friend to us

If you are one of my Tweeps, then you already know what I’m about to blog about. A few weeks back Caroline and Kelly and several other blog friends began to make plans to hear Beth Moore speak about her new book, So Long Insecurity, you’ve been a bad friend to us in Atlanta in April.

 

I love Beth Moore. I read her blog and have done a Bible study of hers. I have been invited to other Bible studies by her, but have not been able to attend. Her blog is on my Blog Roll (LPM) if you want to check her out.

 

Several states of “blog friends” will be represented and we were all “invited”. Being that it could be a day trip for me, I made plans to attend. You see, the conference was sold out, but there were “overflow” seats in the nearby chapel. (FBC Woodstock) All of us are in the “overflow”.

 

I have my ticket and am all set to go! All that was left was that I needed to read  the book. Jeff told me yesterday that he had no idea what to get me for Valentine’s (for once, I had a plan and he didn’t) so I suggested that he get me this book.

 

After the ball game last night, we headed over to Barnes an Noble and I got the book. Yippee!

 

Today Jeff wrote a sweet inscription in the book.

If you can’t read his writing, it says, “Happy Valentine’s Day 2010 No words or book can tell you how much I love you and that’s the truth. Love Boldly, Jeff #53

 

Isn’t that sweet!

 

When I first heard of this book, I didn’t think it applied to me. I'm fairly confident, but then I got to thinking…hmm, fairly wasn’t good enough. I’m headed for COMPLETLY! The more I hear people talk about the book, the more I see that I need to read it. So I am!

 

I am uber excited to read the book, attend the conference, hear Beth, and meet some blogger friends.
