Bye Bye Paci

So Jeff was out of town last night and Jade and I were home alone. She did not have her paci all afternoon (she usually doesn’t) and then at bedtime I did not give it to her. I had taken it out of her bed so that when she went to get her blanket it would not be there. She came out shrugging her shoulders and pointing. She was sure looking for it.

  

She never cried…just looked.

 

I distracted her by reading her a book and she was happy. I then rocked her to sleep and she slept just fine.

I did hear her whimper a few times when she would roll over, but she always went right back to sleep.

So far, it has been over 36 hours without paci. Maybe we are over the hump!
