Trunk or Treat

A local church hosts an annual Trunk or Treat. They go all out and make sure to invite all of the local children with personal invitations.

We went last year for a few minutes and it was very nice. This year, since it was rainy, they moved it inside.

They had SO many fun activities and costumes.

 

 

As Jenna and I were pulling out of the driveway, Justin called and said that his family was going to. Jeff decided that he and Jade should go, too. That turned into a good decision, because Jade LOVED it!

Bryn rocked her chicken costume again.

Jade watched intently as JEnna got her face painted.

Jenna’s favorite station (which she visited twice) was  the cookie decorating table.

When Jade got tired of the stroller she wore her monkey leash. This is a hand me down from Bryn and it was handy tonight.

Jenna played all of the carnival games. She got candy (as if we needed it) from each game. There were also tables around the room with even MORE candy.

Jenna’s Aunt STeph and Cousin Colton were in town and came by to play. Colton’s mask was SUPER SCARY! Even Grandmama came to share in the fun.

Jade got her Trick or Treating groove. She learned quickly to choose a piece candy and to drop it in the bag.
