First, and another "Do NOT tell Mama- Mac this is on the Internet" event. Daddy Mac is infamous for creating gadgets and rigs. He has provided MANY laughs through the years with his antics and creations. Here is one of his latest. On Monday, I was in charge of his lunch. I took it over and he met me on the back porch telling me that he had "made a door" and that he knew he would need to take it down before Mama- Mac got home. He said he needed to close the door between the kitchn and dining room to keep heat in, but that Mama Mac had chosen too thick of carpet for the door to close. SO, he MADE a door.
What you can not see in the above picture is the yard stick that isholding this contraption up. Just look at the hangar and electrical tape. What in the world?!
On Monday, we dressed the girls up and went outside for a while to enjoy the snow. They both had somewhat proper snow gear thanks to Goodwill finds earlier in the year.
We got a lot of snow/ ice, but it wasn't on our back hill so sledding was hard. You will see on another post that Jenna made a way in the driveway and we eventually pulled her behind the Polaris.
On Tuesday, we got a call that Mama- Mac was being transferred to Macon for a heart cath. We headed down there and I think we got behind some of Daddy-Mac's kin.
Just look at this mess! Poor guy.
Mama- Mac got a clean report from her heart cath and was released to go home. If she had listened to that doctor who she wanted to "sling around the room" she would have been sentto Macon Sat night and been released no later than Sunday in all probability.
The ride home was a HOOT! All of us had been cooped upin the hospital and were basically stir crazy.
Jeff had the bright idea os feeding Jade a chocolate doughnut and leaving her strapped in the car seat or an hour drive.
The roads in Macon were super clear.
By Southern Putnam Co, things began to get more icy. Still we had a smooth ride.
Oconee Springs was really icy, but we had no trouble. It seems that Putnam Co is always the southern most part of any snow.
Jenna had stood about all she could take, too.
The noise level was ridiculous!
Overall, we were thankful for decent roads and clear report for Mama-Mac.She is home and doing fine. She is a bit weak from being in bed for 5 days.
