My friend Kim and her girls came out this afternoon and I took some pictures of them. It was SO fun, and I think you will agree she and her girls are BEAUTIFUL!
It all came about this morning when she posted that she was looking for a free way to entertain her girls today. (Fall break gets long when you are tying to not spend $$) Her husband and son are shrimping in Savannah. (Her husband is selling FRESH shrimp for $6 a pound. Let me know if you want some. )
I replied to her post suggesting that she could take her girls (both girly girls) out and about town to get some pictures. I further suggested that Daddy had just baled hay and the fields here are beautiful.
I also had a few extra crafty things left from old bday parties of Jenna’s that Kelsi would enjoy. I told her she could have a few. (You know the whole another man’s junk thing…works great with kids!)
Turns out that they came later in the afternoon and I was home with no kids…
so I offered (begged?) to be able to take their pictures.
It’s SO much easier to take pictures of someone else’s kids!!!
Kelsi is going to be 10 next week and she and Jenna are buddies.
Lelin is 15. She was one of our BETA kids and took a few trips with us.
The oldest kid is Hunter. HE is 17 and MUCH too cool for pictures. (besides he was working with his dad) He was in my class a few years ago. Wish we could clone kids like these.
Kim has been working SO hard to finish her teaching degree. She will be finished this year. She will make a wonderful teacher.
The weather was BEAUTIFUL!
The fields were so pretty…
and all of these girls were so adorable.
I hope they enjoyed their outing…I know I did.
What started as a way to entertain them, turned out entertaining me.
Picture overload? Maybe. But it’s my blog and I just couldn’t decide. (This is only about half the pictures.)
Which is your favorite?
