Jade and I are home alone today. She is feeling a bit puny from a head cold,so we are taking it easy . We are enjoying watching football (especially GameDay being at Carolina). It is SO weird watching football on such a BIG game day without Jeff.
We have these sunflower/daisy weeds/ wildflowers out by the pool. They just showed up last year and then returned this year. Last year, there were more and they were healthier looking. This year, the stalks are all dead looking, but the flowers are pretty. I decided that I would enjoy them more if they were inside in vases, so I cut a few.
Not sure how long this little vase by the sink will last.

MeMe sent Jenna and Jade an awesome Halloween package today. They both got cute outfits, necklaces, pony tails, etc. Jenna got a cool MArdi Gras looking mask. I had to put it away til she gets home because Jade kept playing with it. I just love Jade’s hat. We don’t do the scary Halloween stuff, but this is just too cute with the pig tails.
She loves it and keeps saying, “tank you MeMe”.
Here is our lone Halloween decoration. We do have some pumpkins on the front porch, but they are more fall decorations. In fact, they look a bit plain. I am watching carefully for Pop to make some square bales of hay so that I can decorate more. Pop, If you notice a few missing- sorry. I will return them in a few weeks.
Jade is down for a nap and when she awakes we plan to head to take some pics. Pop is baling hay today, so the fields are beautiful. Hope she cooperates!
