They all looked SO nice and had such a great time. I LOVE middle school awkwardness. I have one pic of a couple all gussied up in their suit and ball gown, waltzing, and blowing bubbles with their bubble gum. Ha! Above, you will see the girl in black “dancing” with the guy in blue- They were waltzing, but the girl would NOT touch him. Oh my!
There were at least 50 extra girls…and by “extra” I mean there were no more boys…so during the waltz they got to sit at the BFF table and watch. I think a LOT of girls who did get paired with a guy wished they were at the BFF table.
There was one limo for the night. I think that’s a bit much, but whatever. A sweet dress, a suit, and maybe a flower was about enough in my opinion!
I wish I could share more pictures, but I don’t like to show faces of students who I don’t know their parents well.
I REALLY want this dress! It would be perfect for my weekend away this weekend. Too bad it’s on a 6th grader. If it was an 8th grader, you can bet I would ask to borrow it. Isn’t it cute!
Middle school awkwardness= another reason I love my job!
I always say this to parents who are about to send their kids to 6th grade, “You send us your elementary schooler and we will give you back a high schooler.”
