Crime Stoppers

I am scared to go into details on this blog, but Aunt Carol and I consider ourselves crime stoppers.

We saw an ad for an auction to be held locally that featured some big named artists. Aunt Carol and I went over to check it out and found a small crowd paying bottom dollar for names like Dali, Matisse, Rockwell, Picasso. Etc.

We were having a ball, but when we left we discussed, “What if this is a scam?”

I went back in and asked for a business card so that I could Google the business.

The guy I asked nicely took a napkin and wrote the name of the company and the phone number. (Yes, ON A NAPKIN!)

I came back to the condo and Googled the company to find claims of scam. (several claims!)

Aunt Carol called the place that was holding the auction and she also called the security of the resort. They all said they would check it out.

Aunt Carol wants to go back over and watch what happens, but I’m scared!!

These people could be terrorists, folks! I have children to raise.

I took pictures, but I will not post them.
