Swimming

The girls FIGHTING like cats and dogs lately. It must be the full moon, but YIKES! They have been driving me insane. I love being home for summer, but it is so hard to keep these two entertained, and not fighting. I can not be the only mom who deals with this!

I took the girls swimming after nap yesterday, and then Jeff took them when he got home. We are working with Jade on swimming sans jacket, but she prefers the independence that the jacket provides.

Jenna is a great swimmer!

Check out the big tear in Jade’s jacket. nice, huh? This was Jenna’s when she was young. Both girls have LOVED this jacket. I remember it was $17 at Target when I bought it. I can not decide if I want to sew it up, or buy a new one. I probably need to buy a new one.

Jenna did about a million handstands.

Eventually, Jade got braver, and would jump without Jeff catching her.

Jade knows that she can not go near the pool without us, but we keep the door dead bolted just in case.

My goal is to find some fresh squash, peas, blueberries, and maybe strawberries from a local fruit stand/ grocery store so that I can freeze some, and make jelly. We are totally out of all that I did last summer. Why is healthy stuff SO expensive????
