Lots of Jenna’s friends from school, church, and even the other Bible school were there.
My favorite room was Foodology. Each day they made something to eat that went along with the Bible lesson for the day. They also did experiments that went along with Bible lessons. Friday, the theme was celebrate Jesus, so they made their own ice cream.
Jenna liked hers….
Yep, jade liked hers, too.
Next was time for some beach volleyball.
There may not have been any sand, but you had better look out or you would get WET! The kids love that. Water guns are actually a signature move of Miss Debbie.
Next stop was the music room. They learned three really fun songs.
The next room was the Bible story. Jade is not ready for that room, so we walked over to the nursery. I had to take her pic in this little boat because of my memories from Methodist Preschool is rowing in the very boat with James Guthrie. We had fishing poles and felt fish, though.
This same slide was also in my preschool room.
After Bible story was art. I’m not really sure what Jade made, but she enjoyed the glue.
Since this was the last day, we had our performance. Miss Debbie is the bomb!
Jenna and Jade are in this sea of kids somewhere.
We came home and then headed to the lake to play. I took zero pictures. I am ashamed to say that this was both of my girls first time really playing in the lake. Jenna has swam a couple of times of AC’s dock a few years ago with a life jacket, and she swam a few weeks ago in deep water at Brooklyn’s. Yesterday was her first time swimming off a lake beach and really touching the bottom. She did NOT enjoy it too much. She is a pool kinda girl. Jade, on the other hand, loved the lake. She kept calling it the pool. She had to wear her life jacket, but she still kept trying to swim out too far. The child has no fear.
After that we came home for dinner, a trip to Home Depot, and a late night night movie. (The kids went to bed before the movie.)
It made for a great day!
