Getting Ready for the Wedding

We had to arrive at Standing Rocks by 3pm for pictures. It was a tough feat to get the girls ready that early, and keep them contained until the 6pm wedding. It all worked out well, though.
Prepare for picture overload.

The entrance looked so pretty.

Candles lined the beautiful driveway.

The tent was set up in the front yard. This was a busy place getting ready for the dinner and dance.

She could not have picked a prettier place for a wedding. The weather was beautiful, even if it was 90+degrees.

Such pretty flower girls.

I was worried about the yard being too small, but it was perfect.

We got there in time to see some last minute pics with the family.

I then took the 3 girls upstairs to the girls’ dressing area. I was not prepared for the little girls to have trouble walking up the stairs in their long dresses. There were only THREE flights of stairs. Yikes!

When we made it to the top, Ashley was sporting her new monogram on her robe. She looked beautiful!

She had told me that her dress was full of bling, and she was RIGHT! It was so pretty. She had 10 bridesmaids and It took everyone to get her in that dress.

Jade and Victoria found a corner to hang out.

After Ashley was dressed, I went downstairs to wait for pictures. The flowers had arrived, and they looked great.

We moved around to the front to get some pictures. Doesn’t Ashley look beautiful!

Ashley had her veil put on outside after a few pics without the veil. They were about to put it on her when I noticed that her mom was not there. I spoke up because I knew she would not want to miss this. I hope someone will do that for me one day when my girls get married

Meanwhile, the boys were playing one of the most ridiculous games ever. Note to self: Next time someone gets married, bring the corn hole game to entertain the guys. They were casting fishing poles attempting to knock over a beer bottle.

The tent was starting to look so pretty.

Anthony’s groom’s cake was so good looking. It was a gift from his good friend’s mom. I didn’t eat any, but it smelled yummy. It had a hunter hanging from a tree on top with a bride on her cell phone looking for the groom.

Ashley’s new name.

The family table was at the center of the tent, and I was honored to sit there.

Just before the wedding the guys packed into the RV to get redressed. This is when Anthony announced that he was nervous. Oh Dear!

I took the little girls up to the girls’ dressing area to wait for the wedding. Victoria called Ashley a princess. I have to admit, I agree.

I went and took my seat and waited for the wedding.
