Again, prepare for picture overload.
The decorations were beautiful.
I knew that they real photographers were taking the traditional pics during the ceremony, so I intentionally looked for moments that would likely be missed by them, and would be memorable. I loved this pic before the ceremony of Ashley’s dad and brothers looking out over the guests. This is a big moment for the father of the bride- and Ashley is his only daughter.
The programs were so lovely.
The guys lined up behind the gate. I was on the aisle seat of the second row, so I started taking their pics. Joey and Todd saw me and put on a show.
What a great looking set of guests. Anthony and Ashley are so loved.
Joey showing a little leg. This is literally moments before the ceremony. Ashley would have died if she knew about this. No one saw this but me, I hope.
Mrs. McEver looked so great. She is always so classy looking.
Aunt Carol looked stunning. She was afraid that her dress was a “fat dress” or a “Barney” dress, but I disagree. I thought it was PERFECT!
Ashley’s mom also looked great. I hope I can rock mother of the bride as beautifully one day in another 25 years.
The guys filed in. There were 10 of them, so I won’t show you pics of all 10.
UJ was the Best man, of course.
Anthony in what would be one of his last moments of composure.
Our girls did so great. There were 5 in all. The youngest- Ashley’s cousin did a face plant about half way down the aisle, but she got right up and shook it off. They all looked so pretty.
If only for a moment, they stood in their places.
Ashley came down the stairs, and here is Anthony’s reaction….
This next pix is great. The preacher is patting Anthony, and Victoria is like ENOUGH ALREADY! Ha! Poor Anthony.
UJ appeared to maintain composure, but I think he may have been crumbling, too.
I think Anthony was thrilled with the way his bride looked. What do you think?
Now for a look at what had Anthony in such a breakdown….
No wonder he cried…She was breathtaking! I asked her dad about this moment of walking her down, and he told me that when they were on the stairs about to come down, Ashley said, “I am ready for him to be my husband.” He said that calmed him, and I can understand.
Look closely, poor Anthony has gone back into the ugly cry again. After his vows he got it together, and was fine. I thought his emotion added extra sweetness to the wedding.
And boy did his mood change when they introduced Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Anthony McEver, Jr.!!
This picture of the dads cracks me up. This is right after the recessional. I love the hand shake. Both families are known for their height…All the McEvers are short…The Khans- Well, they are tall!!
and here is precisely where trouble began. Jade and Victoria were playing- both smiling- having fun, Jade pushed too fast and Victoria fell and hit her head. We had to keep them apart the rest of the night.
This is another moment that I am glad I captured. See how AC is looking at Ash? Well, right after this pic AC said to Ashley, “You are beautiful!” How sweet. You can tell she meant it because of her face in this pic. (I don't even think she knew I heard her say it, but I will never forget it.)
Uncle Jeff and Sophie. Such a pretty baby. Jeff loves a baby!
There were gifts everywhere.
I warned you it would be a lot of pictures. Such a beautiful ceremony. I loved every detail!
