Elin Overload

I don’t know how many pictures you are allowed to post in one blog post, but I am sure about to test the limits. I went over to Wendy and Eric’s after church and took pics of new baby Elin. She is TINY! She is the same size as Jade was after we brought her home. That’s tiny!

 

This baby was ALERT the entire time. If there are any pics with her eyes closed, it is simply a blink. She was awake for the entire hour!

 

I can not decide if I like black/ white or color better. Normally,  I much prefer b/w for newborn pics, but Elin has such pretty skin, that I like color. Leave me a comment and let me know what you like. I can do them all both ways, but I made random selections for the blog. (I took over 200 pics- if I posted the ALL in b/w and color we would have 400 pics!)

 

 

I love this next one. This baby was SO good. She barely cried ANY!

August has been very sick with some random viruses, but he did come get in a few pictures. He was so sweet to his new sister. I can not believe he is already one year. It seems like only yesterday that I took his newborn pics.

We took a very similar pic with August sucking his mama’s finger, too.

 

This is NOT what August looked like. I’m sure they share some features, but they don’t look exactly alike by any stretch. (in my opinion!)

August gave Elin some love. So sweet!

In turn, Elin shared some secrets with big brother.

We took a few with headbands that Nana gave her. She rocked the headband. My girls could NEVER wear them, but Elin looked cute in hers.

 

 

When Elin got a little too much attention, Auggie made sure to remind us who the REAL center of attention should be. Ha!

I MUCH prefer to take pics outside. I just understand the lighting better. It’s tough to do newborn pics outside and it was nearly impossible today due to a thunderstorm. We did catch a few breaks in the rain and snapped a few outside.

 

A NO photo shoot is complete with a “slobber bath”.

 

 

Even though Elin’s face is covered, I like this picture. It is just so full of love.

Love this one! Wendy looks great and it getting around so well considering she had major surgery last week. Way to go, Wendy. Wanna do it again next May? We can make this a tradition.
