This will be a fast blog as I have to have Jenna and Ryleigh at the Plaza by 5 for dress rehearsal for the Uniform Fashion Show. Their school is adopting a uniform policy next year and tomorrow night is the fashion show to explain what to wear and what not to wear.
Yesterday was Tacky Day at my school and my friend, Julie….Wow, She LOVES tacky day. Really, it doesn’t matter what “day” we have..she makes it into “tacky day’. Example: During Red Ribbon Week- On “Wear Red Day”, most people wear red shirts…She wears RED ALL OVER! I mean hair ties, lipstick…EVERYTHING. The girl must be part gypsy.
Jenna is wearing uniform capris (navy) and a pink collared shirt for the fashion show. She won a uniform at school and that’s what she planned to wear. We tried on the capris and they did not fit. So, last night we rushed to the Milledgeville sMall to buy navy capris. NONE TO BE FOUND! We tried on some of everything with no luck. We finally ended up with khaki shorts. This meant we had to have some shoes because you can’t wear flats with cargo shorts. I wasn’t going to buy new tennis shoes this time of year, so we set out to find shoes that we could buy in a size for the fall, but that she could keep on her feet for the fashion show. We had success there. (until tonight when we discovered that they are 2 different sizes. AHHH)
Ryleigh picked out these shoes and it convinced that her mom is going back to buy them. They are like a 4” heel. Ha!
Today I have all 3 girls again and we are getting ready for dress rehearsal and then to soccer at 6. Jade is having tantrums.
Ryleigh is modeling what not to wear.
Here is Jenna’s final product- 2 different shoes and all!
and we’re offfffffffffffff
