Catch Up

I wanted to be sure and blog about just how wonderful my spa day was. I went on Saturday and spent over 4 hours in near heaven!

I snagged all of these pictures off the spa web page. I thought it would be a bit disruptive to take my camera to the spa.

This is the waiting area. Everything at the spa is jungle themed. I am not sure at times if it isn't the REAl jungle. They play nice soothing music and have the calmest atmosphere.

I started my day with a facial. I could not find a picture of a facial, but I did find a pic of the room where the facial was done. Seriously, this girl did the BEST job ever!

I then headed to the Tea Room to have a YUMMY salad. One day I will post the recipe for it. They served it with hot peppermint tea, fresh, local honey, fruit and cheese. YUM!

Next up was my heated stone massage. It was AWESOME! The girl had to really work on my back. She said it was VERY knotty! Guess I did too much sewing.

Then I went over for a spa pedicure! Now I have bright red, shiny toes. Wonder how long that will last.

One of the perks at this spa is that you get to use this awesome shower after any service. I usually take them up the offer, but this time I needed to get home and I was reluctant to wash off teh oils from my body. They felt so good! This picture makes me wish I had used the shower.

Serenity is THE BEST! I SO enjoyed my day there. Thanks JEff, Jenna, and Jade! What a great birthday present.
