We visited Zoo Atlanta on Saturday. This was a place that I had been wanting to take our family for about a year, but had just not made it happen.
The girls and I visited the public library last week to watch a short video on Zoo Atlanta. It was very interesting, and Jade enjoyed it, too. In fact, she kept stealing the headphones from me. This short video enabled us to get our family of 4 in to the zoo for FREE! It was like a $75 savings! Cool! You can do it, too. It is at every Georgia library just for the asking.
We packed our lunch and waters, and off we went. The only money we spent was $15 for train and carousel rides.
Jeff took the camera for a minute, and here are the results. Cracks me up…Where’s Jade?
Jade?
Back of heads?
Nice?
Well….Bless his heart. He tried!
Jeff and two of his girls on the train. This was by far Jade’s favorite part. She has never been impressed with zoo animals in books, and she was not overly impressed at the zoo either. It wasn’t that she didn’t enjoy it; she just wasn’t impressed.
It was hard to get a good picture of the gorillas, but the have an excellent exhibit of 9 gorillas. These things are so funny.
I love this picture!
It was a fun day! I love my family!
