Wrapping it up

We wrapped up 2011 by spending NYE at Julie’s house. We celebrated with Dawn, Cass, Julie, and all of our kids. All of us made it to midnight. Jade fell asleep on the way home with her glittery make up still on.

We wrapped up our holiday by watching the first half of the bowl games at The Brick. Brooklyn was with us. Somehow UGA and SC ended up playing in games that were played at the same time. We could only stay for the first half since Jade needed a nap. The end of Christmas break is always one of the saddest days of the year.

It has been a great break full of family, fun, and celebrating. I am thankful to be able to return to a job when so many wish that they only had a job. I am sure that once my students return, I will be happy to see them.
