Phone Dump

This is the most random post of pictures that are on my phone from spring break until recently. I just don’t want to forget these special moments.

Back in the spring I happened upon Jade’s class at the public library.

After Jenna Marae left our class and went back to the college she had her final project to do. She challenged herself to pass with honors which is VERY RARE and very hard. We sent her this note the morning of her presentation. Of course, she passed WITH HONORS!

 

 

Jade’s teacher will often slip a random tshirt over their clothes to keep them from getting dirty on the playground. This day Jade ended up with a Dawgs shirt!

Love this note that I found on my board. All of the blue marks were corrections made by another student. I think there were originally 6 spelling errors in the message. So cute. I love my job!

This spring was interesting on the McMichael farm and within our family. Among a few things that will go “unblogged”, Mama-Mac had hip replacement, Daddy- Mac had surgery, UC had surgery, Jeff had a bummed shoulder and subsequent surgery, and more and more. I had to laugh one night when I looked over and saw AMS bush hogging the field. You know you are in a bind when she is the one doing the bush hogging. Not that she can’t do the job just fine, but you know this is not her preferred line of work.

Bless Jenna. One day she was in some trouble, and I found this on the table. Yes, that is a REAL bird’s nest, some concoction of water with fresh fruit, etc. I think it was her way of apologizing.

When I was in college I was a nanny for some twins. I had the privilege of taking them to their first day of preschool when they were two. Since their mom was unable to be there, I took lots of pictures for her. They graduated from HS this year, and I sent them a copy of the pics on FB.

Remember how I told you things had been interesting on the farm? Well, there was also a FIRE! Like 6 fire trucks responded.

I’m not even joking when I say this spring has been interesting.

Check out Jade riding her bike at Nonni and Pop’s. She has finally learned to enjoy the Gator at their house. She is LOVING riding her 4-wheeler that MeMe and Pappy gave her for Christmas. We can’t keep the battery charged.

Jeff had shoulder surgery. Bless him. It was a 3 hour surgery. He was a good patient. He was so funny. He took pain meds for about 3 days, but he realized that he watched an entire month of DVR’d Young and the Restless episodes (and downright enjoyed them!), so he had to give the meds up.

And Ms. Giddens is now Mrs. Hanson. It was the sweetest wedding. She was beautiful! It was an honor to be invited!
