Every kid does it, and no mom likes it. On the right side of our driveway, we have a creek that runs. Over the last several years the shrubs and trees have grown up, and I have not laid eyes on the thing in many years.
Jenna and Kelsi asked to go down there today, and I said yes, even though I wanted to say NO!
I gave them about 5minutes, and I asked them to come in. They were all smiles COVERED In mud! They asked me to come down to take pics and blog their adventures. How could I resist!
I entered through the brush, and quickly found a beautiful flowing creek. (Yes, I know cows are upstream, and poop flows freely.)
Kelsi called this her cannon ball.
I insisted that they keep their shoes on. I am not sure that it did any good, but it made me feel better.
They had a ball! I sent them to the water hose, then the pool, and then a hot shower. Surely they will be ok! I have find memories of playing in this same creek, and Mama-Mac hating every second we were there. I now understand. I just couldn’t deny the girls those memories. I hope it was the right call.

Kelsi told me all about it, she loved every minute of it! We were at a redneck games birthday party last weekend, they had a huge mud pit, her feet are still orange!! LOL Thanks for having her over, she loved it!
Right call for sure! I remember some of my favorite times when we lived on Pine Valley Dr., in WR, we would go to the neighbors back yard and play in their stream. We would catch tadpoles in hopes they would grow into a frog before our very eyes...Ha, your Mom was probably reading a book.?
