We started our day by sleeping in as long as Jade would allow.
We then went to church at the Macs church. This is a country church with just a few remaining members. It is one of the oldest on our community. (Maybe the oldest)
It is the kind of church where they say, and I quote, “We will stand and sign Hymn 223 from the brown book. Verses 1, 2, 4. {what’s wrong with the 3rd?!} If ya’ll ain’t got a brown book, holler and we’ll get you one.” These people are SO sweet and loving. It’s hard not to enjoy a Sunday in this church.
I forgot my camera, so no pics.
Leia Eubanks, a young recent college grad (who is looking for work BTW) was volunteered to do the lesson. Her Papa is ruthless in his volunteering of his grandkids. She did a WONDERFUL job and taught a nice lesson from the quarterly.
This afternoon was really quiet. Jeff went to the farm, Jade went to Nonni’s, and Jenna was at Justin’s.
We are all back under one roof now. Mama is happy.
